Are you buying new Domain ?

Filed under: Tips, blogs — Realest @ 11:18 am

Before i registered few new domains last year, i would very appreciate these tips that i did not know.
As a result i got 1-2 domains that are useless.

Soooo. Are you looking for the new domain name and don`t know what keywords to use?

Here are the prefixes and suffixes for domain names
Its very useful, just mix the words an you can relate them to anything.

I registered once www.oldtorrents.com domain and damn now its worthless. If i knew this before i would buy maybe centraltorrents.com or xtorrents with or without -

I mean there is so many words that i don`t have clue, how the hell i take “old” keyword. :\

For more ideas go to a random domain name generator

Find Downloads on Rapidshare

Filed under: Articles, Tips, blogs — Realest @ 7:28 pm

I used to search randomly rapidshare dot de and com by google like for example:

site:rapidshare.de wallpapers

site:rapidshare.de mp3 Where “mp3″ is the search word.

Its interesting, cause i never know what i am going to find AND this way you can find files that are not meant to be shared for public users.

Now for easier and better searches people made websites that search other hosting file services.
Try your searching for files at these two sites:

  • Anyway google is still good in search, its just manual

    Microsoft “Genuine Advantage” cracked

Filed under: Tips, wtf — ramone_ @ 10:18 am

Microsoft “Genuine Advantage” was cracked in just 24 hours according to a 2005 Boing Boing article. The crack simply required adding some Javascript to your browser window.
Before pressing ‘Custom’ or ‘Express’ buttons paste this text to the address bar and press enter:

    javascript:void(window.g_sDisableWGACheck=’all’)

It turns off the trigger for the key check.
This simply crack used to work, but Microsoft is now getting serious about stopping pirated software. Just today, Microsoft Watch stated “Come this fall, however, the Redmond software maker is planning to turn up the Genuine Advantage heat in two ways: By baking more Genuine Advantage checks directly into Windows Vista, and by taking aim at PC makers, system builders, Internet cafes and other sources of potentially pirated software.”

YIKES! Maybe it’s time to buy some Microsoft stock since no doubt MS will get a stock boost from many illigitimate users simply paying for a legitimate copy rather than play “tit for tat” with Microsoft, which keeps “tweaking” the WGA code to thwart users using pirated versions of Windows XP/2003 (and soon Vista).

But if your so inclined to play the “game” of hacking WGA and are looking for other methods of cracking Microsoft Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) you can check out the plethora of comments below for various cracking methods. Good luck!

Tweak XP For Gaming & Performance

Filed under: Articles, Tips, Tutorial, blogs — Realest @ 11:09 am

Here is a forum post LINK that shows how to:

    Increase system performance
Disable XP’s -crud- built in CD Burner
    Tune Systems Memory
    Tweak The Swap File
    Disable Services
    Speed Up The File System
    Disable DLL Caching
    Tweak The Prefetch
SpeedUp Your Connection By 20% (Cable Users Only)
    and more….
I tried some of these myself, and cause this is on your own risk, it`s good to remember what have you changed and which services you disabled, so you can enable them back when you see that something is not working.

80 Percent Of Traffic Brings Google

Filed under: Tips, blogs — Realest @ 1:38 am

On Infoworld.com they say: Google.com, gets almost 80 percent of all the visits.
I agree, when i look my statistics under referrals i see google everywhere.
Not just .com also .co.uk, .fi, .nl., hr, .jp…
This is bad mostly because of other search engines like Yahoo and Msn,
where is the competition :) If Google 80%, Yahoo cca 10% and Msn cca 10% than yahoo and msn together cannot compete.
When i saw only 1 visit from altavista.com it was like “wow im on their search engine” but how come only one visit, well I guess that very little people search there. :)
